Facebook recently announced a new feature that allows users to automate their questions and responses in a Facebook page. This article will explain how you can use this feature to create automated questions and responses for your Facebook page.

The automated response facebook page is a way to set up automated questions and responses in a Facebook Page. This method allows for the Facebook Page owner to create an automated question that will be asked in the future, or answer an automated question that was previously asked.

Businesses may use a Facebook page to communicate with their consumers. It is an internet platform, which means that a Facebook page may reach out to everyone in the globe. It has approximately 2.7 billion monthly active members. This is why almost every well-known company has a Facebook page.

We’ll teach you how to set up automatic questions and answers on Facebook in this tutorial.

Go to your Facebook profile first. This may be done in the browser or via the Facebook Manager mobile app. Click Settings > Messaging > Setup automatic replies in a desktop browser.

The “Setup automatic replies” part is down near the bottom of the page, so scroll down and look for the message setting section. When you’ve located it, press the Set Up button. It should resemble the following:

If you’re using the Facebook Pages Manager mobile app, go to Toolbox > Settings > Automated Responses to get started. The toolbox may be found in the bottom right corner of the screen:

The Settings option will appear on the top portion of the screen after pressing on the toolbox. Select Automated Responses after tapping on it.

Once you’ve gotten it up and running, it’s pretty much the same as it is in the browser. You may set up two different kinds of automatic responses: Instant Reply and Away Message.

What’s the difference between Facebook’s Instant Reply and Away Message? The first is an immediate response to individuals who have messaged your Facebook Page, but it is only delivered while the Facebook Page Manager is available. The other is still a “immediate” response, but it is delivered when the Facebook Page Manager is unavailable.

What is Instant Reply and how do I put it up?

Instant Reply has a toggle switch that must be toggled on to activate it. There is already a message set by default that reads “Thanks for messaging us.” We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.”

Click the Edit button in the browser or the Pen Icon in the mobile app to edit the message. After that, edit the message and customize it to your liking. These messages now include dynamic features that enable you to include the name of the person who messaged the page. You may offer them your first name, last name, complete name, or even a link to your Facebook Page’s URL. Here is an example of a message:

In our testing, we’ve discovered a problem in the browser’s “Add Personalisation” feature. When you click “Add Personalisation,” the text editor will add a space after the word “Personalisation.” If you attempt to remove that space with backspace and then add anything like a period or a comma, the “Personalisation” will become a back-end variable and appear like this:

Do not delete the gap added to avoid this inconvenience. Instead, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move your cursor, or click on the cursor position right after you’ve applied “Personalisation.” After that, you may add the character you like.

After you’ve created your message, click the Save icon in the top right corner of both the app and the browser.

How to Configure an Away Message

Click the Edit button in the browser and the Pen Icon on the Mobile App under the Away Message area. You may leave a note for your website visitors to read while you are gone in there. Similar to the Instant Reply, Facebook has also put up a default reply for you, which reads: “Thanks for your message. We’re on vacation and won’t be able to reply at this time. We appreciate your contacting us.”

You may change the message as you like and utilize the “Add Personalisation” feature in your message. Then, to save the message you’ve created, click the Save option. You may keep it as is, or you can specify a particular period when you want your page to be “Away.” If you don’t wish to respond to messages on certain days and times, such as weekends, you may and should do so.

Click the Add Time button to begin setting up the time. After that, you must choose a weekday. After choosing, the whole 24 hour time period will be highlighted, since the default time range is the entire day.

If you don’t want to use this function for the whole day, you may use the time range beneath the day option to specify a particular period when it should be used and when it should be turned off.

Pro Tip: If your page is an International Page and you want to target particular areas other than your own, you may alter the Time Zone. By default, the Time Zone chosen is the same as the one in which you are now located. If you wish to target different time zones, just type “time zone in ” into Google and you’ll get the time zone you’re looking for.

You have now finished everything and may click the Save button to save your changes once you have specified the message and the period.

How to Create a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Page

Do you get tired of answering the same queries from your visitors on a daily basis? Then this is the tool for you. By simply choosing it from a preset list of questions, you may create a list of questions that your visitors can ask. Aside from the questions, you can also set up an automatic answer for each one so you don’t have to respond to the same ones again and over.

Still, click on Frequently Asked Questions under Automated Reponses. The button is also enabled via a toggle switch. You may set up the questions and answers while it’s switched off and then turn it on after you’re through.

The setup for the browser and the mobile is almost identical, with the exception that in the browser, you must first click the Edit button. Click the Add a Question area once you’re in the FAQ section. In the text editor for the Question, put in one of the questions that your visitors often ask, and then in the Automated Response area, type in what you would say if someone asked that question. This is how your setup should look:

By selecting the +Add an attachment option, you may add a video or a picture attachment to your automatic answer in addition to a standard message. By selecting the +Add a button link, you can also add a button to which you may specify the URL. If your page has an official website, you may use the button feature to add a button that redirects the visitor to it.

If you want the question to be accessible to the user during the whole discussion in the messenger, click the toggle beneath the Add to menu (only available in browser).
